I like the concept - articles about what’s on where and how to get it. I tend to read these articles with interest when they’ve been on epltalk, so the idea of having a steady stream is a great hook.
But “soccerondish”…? I don’t have a dish - I have cable and I had Setanta via ITVN and now via Setanta Broadband. My cable company gives me GolTV and offers all the PPV options. I get all the ESPN’s except for the Ocho. I just think there could be a better name for the site that doesn’t exclude non-dish owners from the get-go.
Of course, if the discussion turns to channel 1027 and the closed captioning options for the argentinian league games…. then I would be saying you should call this site “soccerondish” if you’re going to be so obcure, but hey - I’m a commenter (not a blogger), so I don’t have to be consistent.

Dave,
Soccer On Dish was initially launched last year to coincide with the launch of Setanta becoming available on Dish network. While that has long past, I thought it’d be useful to provide soccer coverage news to people who watch their futbol on a “dish,” whether that be DirecTV or DISH Network — and also include cable, IPTV, broadband, etc.
Not the most perfect name in the world, I agree. But it works.
Cheers,
The Gaffer
