BSkyB (British Sky Broadcasting) has announced that its subscriber base in the United Kingdom has now grown to 8.9 million as of March 2008. Sky is now on track to hit 10 million subscribers by 2010.
Setanta Sports, meanwhile, has approximately 3 million subscribers in the UK.
